While the narrative on the recipe says that it is gluten and dairy free, the recipe calls for 1/2 cup of sour cream. Um, that’s not dairy free :( What can be used as a substitution for the sour cream? I’d love to try these cookies as we are wheat allergic, gluten intolerant, and casein (milk protein) allergic at my house. Thanks!

The recipe should say 1/2 cup of sour cream “alternative” – sorry about the omission. The sour cream alternative is available at stores like Whole Foods – they should be able to help point you to the right product.
