I can’t believe they gave two buck chuck Cabernet such a high rating. I’ve tried it and been very unimpressed. The chardonnay was better.

I was surprised by the low score given to Rodney Strong’s cab. I have visited that winery and recall enjoying the cab immensely. I had Rodney Strong chardonnay last night with dinner (scallops and pasta – yum) and it was delightful. I was also shocked by the high ratings of local wines. I have not been impressed by local wines except those at Fence Stile winery in Excelsior Springs.
