White House announced Alice as one of ten ‘Champions of Change.’

The White House announced today that a Kansas City area woman, Alice Kitchen, will be honored as one of ten ‘Champions of Change’, for her work on health care. Alice is currently the President of KCPT’s Community Advisory Board.

We fellow Missourians in St. Louis are proud that Alice Kitchen has been named a “champion of change.” We too are working to educate our area citizens about the benefit of the Affordable Care Act. The work that Alice Kitchen has done is an inspiration to us.

Kansans in the metropolitan area have also benefitted from Alice’s leadership and encouragement of education about the Affordable Care Act. Working with Sarah Starnes of the Affordable Care Act Education Group and with Anna Lambertson of the Kansas Health Consumer Coalition, she has expanded the awareness and understanding of the law and its intended effects for the people of our state.
