Mendy Rose, Marketing Manager SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium and Matt Lowe, Account Executive SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium kicked off the KCPT and SEA LIFE high school broadcasting/journalism contest at KCPT. Ten area high schools were chosen to cover the arrival of the fish to their new home at SEA LIFE Aquarium Kansas City. The ten teams will go behind the scenes of the arrival of the fish and be able to interview those who are responsible for the delivery and care of over 5,000 creatures. The teams will be competing for the winning opportunity to not only have their feature air on KCPT’s The Local Show but be a member of the media coverage at the opening of the SEA LIFE Aquarium Kansas City. This will truly be an outstanding, once in a life time opportunity for all students involved.
