HOWL at the Moon and Celebrate Science City’s Newest Addition

Science City is celebrating their brand new Nature Center with a special HOWL'o'ween party on Saturday, October 27th.

Calling all critters, creepy crawlies and things that go bump in the night! Science City is celebrating their brand new Nature Center with a special HOWL’o'ween party on Saturday, October 27th! Come dressed as your favorite animal, see spooky science demos, make a Wild Kratts nature journal and see KCPT’s P.T. the owl! The fun starts at 4:30pm.

Tickets can be purchased through Union Station’s website or by calling 816-460-2000.

Non-members – $7

Howl'o'ween Party Saturday, October 27, 4:30-8:30pm Celebrate the Opening of the New Nature Center in Science City Costume Contest - Be there early! Prize given to winner at 5:30pm. KCPT Annual Meeting

KCPT honors its supporters, volunteers and community partners.

KCPT held its Annual Board Meeting on Tuesday, October 9. CEO Kliff Kuehl and the KCPT Board took time out to recognize Foundations, corporate supporters, volunteers and community partners for all they have done for the station this past year.  Those honored were Bank of America, Californos, Country Club Bank, JoAnna Dale, Tom Dowling, Peggy Drabbenstott, Francis Family Foundation, Kansas City Symphony, Labconco, John Mertz, and Carol Wall.  Also honored was Hunter Wolbach, our outgoing Chairman; and board members who have completed their terms – Julie Edge, Chris Fernandez, Lafayette Ford, Lan Strickland, and Peter Yelorda.  Annual Meeting slideshow

Spend the Day with Cat in the Hat!

In celebration of The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About Christmas special, come meet The Cat, make holiday crafts and explore the science of winter weather on December 1, 2012 at Union Station!

Here we go, go, go, go on a winter adventure! Join KCPT at Union Station on December 1, 2012 for a splendiferous day with Cat in the Hat!

In celebration of The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About Christmas special, come meet The Cat, make holiday crafts and explore the science of winter weather.

The fun begins with a pancake breakfast at 8:30am. Tickets for the breakfast are available on Union Station’s website.

Day Out with Cat in the Hat!

10am-2pm – Get your picture with Cat in the Hat, make a holiday craft, explore winter science | Free and open to the public
