Travelscope: New Season

Host Joseph Rosendo invites viewers to join him on his cultural discoveries around the world.
Watch Saturdays at 3pm.

Propelled by a national Emmy nomination and multiple Telly Awards in 2010, the fifth season of TRAVELSCOPE takes the series to new heights with trips to exotic destinations in Rwanda, Guatemala and Istanbul, and also to much-beloved spots in Switzerland, Ireland and Greece. Host Joseph Rosendo’s open-hearted and welcoming personality invites viewers to join him on his cultural discoveries around the world. In its fifth season, TRAVELSCOPE stays true to its mission of illustrating the enduring truth in Mark Twain’s quote, “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness.”

In this episode: St. Vincent & the Grenadines –– Close to Home, but a World Away
Thirty-two beautiful islands, off the beaten track, yet in your backyard, is what Joseph discovers on his St. Vincent & the Grenadines adventure. These stunning Caribbean isles offer a wide range of water activities from snorkeling and diving to swimming and sailing. Yet, the best adventures are the natural and cultural ones and Joseph experiences them from searching for the St. Vincent Parrot to swimming with endangered sea turtles and dancing to the drums of the Union Island Maroon Festival.
