Doc Martin — New Season

Celebrated London surgeon – flees from his position after developing a phobia to blood.
Watch Saturdays at 8pm.

Martin Clunes (Men Behaving Badly) returns for the fourth season of DOC MARTIN as the brash doctor Martin Ellingham, whose blunt opinions and tactless manner cause mayhem in a small Cornish community. Ellingham – once a celebrated London surgeon – flees from his position after developing a phobia to blood. After retraining as a general practitioner, Ellingham gets a job in the beautiful but sleepy village of Portwenn replacing their deceased local doctor. But his abrasive personality doesn’t exactly mesh with the pace of life in Cornwall. In this fourth season, “Doc Martin” continues to deal with the strange cases and stranger personalities of Portwenn. He deals with the mysterious illnesses and odd events that plague the town, including the strange death of a local sheep farmer, a paranoid and constipated school headmaster, a visitor with a rare genetic disease, and the unexpected pregnancy of a person very close to the good doctor.

Watch Saturdays at 8pm.

As Time Goes By

Long-lost sweethearts Jean and Lionel are reunited after 30 years in this long-running series, Saturdays at 7 pm on KCPT and 10 pm on KCPT2.

Jean and Lionel fell in love during the early 1950s, but when army officer Lionel was sent to Korea they lost touch after a letter he sent her never arrived.

Both assumed the other had lost interest, but 38 years later their paths cross again, when Lionel returns to England to write his memoirs of life in the army and as a coffee-planter in Kenya (imaginatively titled ‘My Life in Kenya’).

Seeking an agency temp to handle the typing, he is sent a young secretary in the form of Judith Pargetter and after hitting it off they agree to meet for dinner. That evening, though, Lionel also chances upon meeting her mother and his long-lost sweetheart: Jean. But could their love be rekindled after so long?
