The Anti-Bias Study Guide is a curricular resource for educators who teach grades 9–12 that promotes respect for diversity and inspires action against prejudice. Comprised of five units and 32 lessons, the goals of the Study Guide are:
To explore societal issues arising from bias, bigotry and discrimination;
To improve critical-thinking skills among students;
To examine diverse viewpoints; and
To encourage students to take leadership roles in promoting justice and equity in their schools, communities and society.
The Study Guide content was written and developed by ADL staff who are former classroom educators, curriculum specialists and experts in the field of anti-bias education. The Study Guide lessons are based on research from the fields of multicultural education, anti-bias education, anti-bullying education and social and emotional learning.
This workshop is FREE but registration is required.
