Family Membership Quarterly Benefits

It’s as easy as 1-2-3 to support KCPT and enjoy family events throughout the year. All KCPT Family Members receive:

  • Early and/or private access at a minimum of 2 KCPT Kids Character Events each year. Characters and events vary from year to year, but in the past have included KCPT Kids on Ice: Skate with Clifford and Breakfast with Buddy.
  • Quarterly KCPT Kids Newsletter, featuring articles from PBS Parents, activities for kids, and information on upcoming KCPT Family Membership events!
  • Subscription to the KCPT Member Guide, the monthly member magazine with program listings for all three KCPT channels, articles and information about upcoming programs, concerts and events and so much more.

Meet The Cat in the Hat Saturday, March 2nd

... and celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday at Paradise Park!

Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday with the Cat in the Hat! Join us at Paradise Park on Saturday, March 2, 2013 to get your picture with the Cat in the Hat and celebrate what would have been Dr. Seuss’ 109th birthday. KCPT Family Members and Paradise Park Family Members will be able to have a special meet and greet from 11am to Noon. The Cat in the Hat will be greeting all Paradise Park attendees from Noon to 3pm. As a special treat join us for crafts at Noon and 2pm and a special Science Presentation at 2:30 directed by KCPT’s Director of Education Gary Brock.

Clifford’s BIG 50th Birthday Party

Celebrate Clifford the Big Red Dog's 50th birthday with KCPT on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at KCPT Kids on Ice.

This February marks the 50th anniversary of the publication of Clifford, the Big Red Dog by Norman Bridwell. That means Clifford is about 350 in dog years!

Celebrate Clifford the Big Red Dog’s 50th birthday with KCPT on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at KCPT Kids on Ice. To mark this MONUMENTAL occasion, you can skate with Clifford, sign his BIG birthday card and enjoy some special birthday treats.

Buddy from Dinosaur Train is coming to Sea Life Aquarium

Come meet Buddy from Dinosaur Train and take the Aquarium Discovery Tour on Saturday, January 26, 2013.

Get your picture with Buddy from Dinosaur Train and take the Dinosaur Train Discovery Tour through Sea Life Aquarium! On the self-guided tour, you’ll learn about the prehistoric ancestors of sharks, crabs and more.

Buddy will be at Sea Life Aquarium on Saturday, January 26th from 10am to 3pm. Tickets for admission to the aquarium are required and can be purchased through Sea Life Aquarium’s website.  It is highly recommended that you purchase your tickets online and in advance of January 26th.
