Steve Rose predicts election victories for Governor Brownback and Senator Roberts. He also is predicting a loss for Secretary of State Kris Kobach. Rose says the governor’s race will be close.
One of the losing plaintiffs in the Streetcar lawsuit claims she is losing business because of the new taxes in the special district and is moving to Kansas because “they seem to encourage business.” Supporters of the streetcar system claim it will continue to enhance economic development opportunities in the area.

Right-to-work is back on the front burner in Missouri politics. It’s assumed the state legislature will be considering it. And, there’s also the possibility that an initiative campaign could put a right-to-work question on the November ballot.
