How can KCPT best serve the community?
As it has for nearly fifty years, that simple question guides the creation and production of programs at Kansas City’s only locally owned television station. This summer, KCPT will debut a new series that takes viewers to places which may not fit the confines of existing shows like Kansas City Week in Review, Ruckus, ScreenTime or the station’s award winning documentaries.
The Local Show is designed to highlight artists and entrepreneurs, leaders and overachievers from all walks of life— and in the process, help Kansas Citians discover substantially more about this place we call home.
